Black History mandatory in all schools?
All children should be taught about racism and the history of Black ethnic communities in scools across the UK, much in the same way the Holocaust is.
A series of interviews carried out by Youmanity in Brixton (below) suggest that "racial inequality" in the education system of this country is present.
Wales appears to take the lead ini finally introducing Black History as mandatory lessons in all schools. The contributions made by BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) communities to the Wales should be celebrated and recognised by school books.
Finally, it seems, Black History is being incorporated in the schools curricula.
Youmanity applauds the Welsh Government for initiating such an important move that will celebrate a more inclusive history of the nation.
