FREEDOM TO LOVE - Christmas party

Please join us for an exciting fundraising evening celebrating the importance of social inclusion, a dimension much valued by YOUMANITY.

The evening has been sponsored by Orecchietta restaurant who promise to delight us with home-made dishes from Puglia.

Throughout the night we will have an opportunity to exchange Seasonal greetings, see old friends as well as meet our youngest and latest members.

We are grateful to our guest of honour for the evening, Massimiliano Mazzanti, Consul General of Italy, who has supported the activities of our association from the very beginning of his mandate.

We are also grateful to Gianna Nannini whose artistic contributions have over the years championed social inclusion and human rights. All of us very much look forward to meeting Gianna Nannini, our FREEDOM TO LOVE special guest.

Christmas is a time for rejoicing and cherishing family and friends. It is also a time to reflect on our actions and give a thought to those who are at a disadvantage because of social discrimination.

Our annual photography award, FREEDOM TO LOVE, has been designed especially to raise awareness of the violence caused by hate crime. I am aware this latest project delivered by YOUMANITY is not going to change people's attitudes, but will surely be a contribution towards the more inclusive society we all hope to be part of.
