Welcome R;pple

Youmanity would like to introduce a new  charitable organisation with the practical objective of helping with the prevention of suicide.

R;pple is an online monitoring tool designed to flag out potentially harmful keyword searches performed by vulnerable persons. Google searches can include 'how to kill yourself' or 'I want to die'. Through a complex but effective search result optimisation, R;pple prompts a list of mental health support options that come up on users' screens. Mental health helplines come up first, before any results relating to harmful content are displayed.

R;pple's work hopes that people feeling suicidal who search on Google for ways to end their life will be urged to seek help and support instead.
