Run 4 Love - Run 4 Youmanity
On 13th February 2018, philanthropist Nick Lawson will begin a unique marathon across Africa - from the southern-most to the northern-most point of the continent - from Cape Agulhas, South Africa to Ras ben Sakka, Tunisia. Nick aims to make the journey in 365 days, travelling through 23 different countries.
The purpose of this excruciating run?
As the name of the project suggests, Run for Love wants to convey a message of Love to people everywhere.
‘The universal feeling of Love can translate in many dimensions - social inclusion being one of major importance right now, says Nick. It is a fact that there are more refugees in the world today than there were after WW2. Run for Love is dedicated to them, to anyone who is struggling for survival in contemporary society, added Nick.
As an Australian from Sydney and a citizen of the world, Nick is inviting charities as well as private individuals to join him during his Run for Love. Joining adventurers can run for a leg of the journey or the whole journey and, most importantly, raise money for a charity of their choice. Youmanity is proud to announce that the organization has partnered with this epic marathon and fully supports Nick’s laudable mission.

The entire Run for Love run will be filmed, and a constant social media presence will be maintained throughout the journey. Blog posts, photos, and videos will spread the message of love and much needed social inclusivity.
