“for Richer, for Poorer”

This year's Black History Month - starting Saturday, 1 October - will showcase a number of exciting events both throughout the UK.
 

The Met’s Strategic Diversity and Inclusion team and YOUMANITY have teamed up to produce a film short celebrating interracial marriages.
 

Entitled “for Richer, for Poorer”, it highlights those difficulties couples from different racial backgrounds may have had to face.

Fully narrated by BBC journalist Leon Mann, the film demonstrates how, in the end, regardless of racial extractions, love conquers all.
 

This film is under the patronage of the European Commission.
