Join us for a visit to Stories of Friendship
For those of you who were unable to attend the opening of Stories of Friendship, Thursday 28th Aug will provide a great opportunity to visit this unique photographic collection.
The exhibition curator, Tatiana Chierici, will take visitors on a historical journey to Southern Italy, to a time when Puglia became centre stage to the events that led to the birth of the Italian Republic.
One hundred photographs from the archives of the Imperial War Museum, London, provide a new insight into some of the most significant encounters between British soldiers and the civilian population.
Stories of Friendship testify that even in war there is room for positive values. Brotherhood and solidarity are at the heart of the human soul regardless of nationality and status.
This exhibition is under the Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano.
