Remembering Desmond Tutu
2 January 2022
The loss of South African anti-apartheid campaigner Archbishop Desmond Tutu leaves a huge void in many people around the world.
Tutu, a Nobel Peace Prize winner who helped end the racist regime in South Africa, died on 26th Dec 2021 aged 90.
We remember him as a fun, loving and wise person:
“My father always used to say, "Don't raise your voice. Improve your argument." Good sense does not always lie with the loudest shouters, nor can we say that a large, unruly crowd is always the best arbiter of what is right.”
RIP Tutu
